Itinerary:
Day 1 USA - London (England)
Our vacation begins as we depart USA for London.
Day 2 London
Our London tour starts with a visit to Windsor Castle, the weekend home of Queen Elizabeth. After lunch, we visit Tower of London, Parliament Building, Big Ben, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, and photo stops in front of Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey. (L)
Day 3 London - Eurostar Train - Brussels (Belgium) - Amsterdam (Netherlands¡^
The Eurostar Train takes us to Brussels. Once arrive, we visit the Grand Place, Flamboyant City Hall, Guild Houses, and the Mannenkin Pis Statue. A relaxing drive takes us to Amsterdam. An included canal cruise gives us an intimate view of the city. (B, D)
Day 4 Amsterdam - Cologne (Germany) - Rhine River Cruise - Frankfurt
Visit a diamond cutting and polishing factory to see the one of a kind special designed diamonds. Proceed to Cologne for a look at the Cathedral. Later, take a cruise on Rhine River. Stay overnight at Frankfurt. (B, D)
Day 5 Frankfurt - Lake Titisee - Rhine Falls (Switzerland) - Lucerne
Our drive to Switzerland passes the Heidelberg Castle. The sightseeing tour today includes visits to the Lake Titisee in the Black Forest Region, and Rhine Falls in Switzerland. (B, D)
Day 6 Lucerne - Mt Titlis - Lucerne
The morning tour shows us the Lion Monument, Lake Lucerne, and the ancient bridge. The afternoon is free at leisure. You may shop for all things Swiss or take a cruise ride on Lake Lucerne. An optional excursion to Mt. Titlis is offered. Why not take a cable car ride up to the top of Mt. Titlis for a fantastic bird¡¦s eye view of the surrounding snow covered peaks. (B)
Day 7 Lucerne - Vadus (Liechtenstein) - Lucerne - Innsbruck (Austria) - Salzburg
Drive to Vadus, the capital city of Liechtenstein, famous as a heaven for stamp collectors. Continue on to Innsbruck for a quick visit of the ski jump of the 1964 and 1976 Winter Olympics and the Golden Roof of Holy Roman Emperor Maxmillian. Some free time to shop for the famous Austrian crystal. Stay overnight in Salzburg. (B, D)
Day 8 Salzburg - Vienna
Morning is free at leisure in Salzburg¡¦s Old Town. Perhaps visit Mozart¡¦s birthplace, Mirabell Garden. Travel to Vienna for overnight accommodation. (B, D)
Day 9 Vienna - Graz
A morning visit to Schonbrun Palace. A panoramic drive passes the Vienna Opera House, Ringstrasse, Parliament Building, the Hofburg and City Hall. Free time for lunch and shopping, or you may want to visit St. Stephen¡¦s Church. Stay overnight in Graz. (B, D)
Day 10 Graz - Venice (Italy)
Take a ferry ride to Venice. Our city tour includes the St. Mark's Basilica, Magical Piazza St. Marco, Bridge of Sighs, and the Dodge's Palace (outside). Perhaps take a "gondola" ride and see the Grand Canal. (B, D)
Day 11 Venice - Florence - Rome
Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance. Our city tour includes the Duomo, Bronze Doors of the Baptistery, the 13C Santa Croce Church, and Signoria Square. Later, we will have a chance to shop in a major leather factory outlet store. Continue on to Rome, the Eternal City. (B, L)
Day 12 Rome - Lucca
Rome is over 2700 years old, but still feels young and vital. Our tour includes the Colosseum, Roman Forum, Constantine's Triumphal Arch, St. Peter's Square, and St. Peter's Basilica. Stay overnight in Lucca. (B, L)
Day 13 Lucca - Pisa - Monte Carlo (Monaco) - Cannes or Nice (France)
A leisurely drive along the stunning Italian Riviera takes us through Pisa to Monte Carlo Casino Beckons, Monaco. Why not try your luck there. Tonight we stay over in Cannes or Nice, France. (B, D)
Day 14 Cannes - Lyon
Nice is a prosperous city with the most popular summer vacation spots on the French Riviera. Proceed through Rhone Valley to Lyon, one of France's major industrial cities. (B, D)
Day 15 Lyon - Paris
Arrive Paris in the afternoon. Free time to shop at Lafayette Department Store, or simply sit in an outdoor cafe and watch the world go by. Tonight, perhaps join an optional tour of the Seine River Cruise for a fantastic view of the city. (B)
Day 16 Paris
Today's tour includes visits to the Louvre Museum and Versailles Palace. Panoramic drive also shows us the famous landmarks: Eiffel Tower, Place De La Concord, Champs Elysees, Arc De Triomphe (B, D)
Day 17 Paris - USA
Transfer to the airport for our homebound flight. (B)
