Detailed Itinerary
- Day 01 : USA - Tokyo
Check in for your transpacific flight to Japan, the magnificent "Land of the Rising Sun". Our destination is Tokyo, its capital city.
- Day 02 : Arrive Tokyo
Arrive at Tokyo¡¦s new Narita Airport. You are met and greeted and transferred via shuttle bus to settle in to your luxury accommodations. The rest of the day is free at leisure. As the powerhouse of creative energy and global influence, Tokyo amazes visitors with many spectacular offerings.
- Day 03 : Tokyo (AB, L)
Discovery of Japan beings as you take a half- day city tour of Tokyo. Drive by the picturesque Imperial Palace, home to the emperor and his royal family (we aren't allowed inside the gates). Continue on to the Asakusa Kannon Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo that was built to house the statue of the Goddess of Mercy. Take an elevator up to the observation deck atop Tokyo Tower where you are presented with a panoramic view of the sprawling metropolis. The tour ends in Ginza where you are given time to experience shopping at the most expensive real estate in all of Japan. A local Sukiyaki lunch is provided.
- Day 04 : Tokyo (AB)
A full day has been provided for you to explore Tokyo at your own pace. The advanced subway system affords easy access to the entire city, including the brand new exciting Roppongi Hills District billed as the ¡§Heartbeat of Tokyo¡¨.

- Day 05 : Tokyo - Mt. Fuji - Atami (AB, L, DS)
Our most event-filled day begins as we journey by motorcoach to see Mt. Fuji. We stop at either Mt. Fuji 5th Station or Mt. Fuji Museum (depending weather conditions) to marvel at its spectacular cloud-shrouded peak rising proudly into the sky, at once a symbol of national pride. Continue on to Hakone where we take a cruise of Lake Ashi before heading to Atami.
- Day 06 : Atami - Kyoto (AB, L)
Located in the Shizuoka prefecture, Atami is one of Japan¡¦s most popular seaside resort towns. Experience firsthand the beautiful natural scenery that blends sea, mountain and sky into a peaceful oceanside town. Later we board the ¡§Shinkansen¡¨ bullet-train, to Kyoto. Kyoto was the capital of Japan until the Shogun Tokugawa moved it to ¡§Edo¡¨, or Tokyo. An afternoon city tour includes visits to Kyomizu Temple, the dramatic Golden Pavilion and the Heian Shrine.
- Day 07 : Kyoto (AB, DS)
Take the entire day off at leisure. Feel free to stroll the ancient streets of Kyoto, doing some last minute souvenir shopping. Later in the evening we enjoy a farewell dinner and a traditional Japanese Cultural Show.
- Day 08 : Kyoto - Osaka - USA (AB)
Journey by motorcoach to Osaka where we board our homebound international flight.
