Detailed Itinerary
- Day 01 : USA - Hong Kong
Our exotic vacation to China starts as we board an international flight bound for Bangkok, crossing the international date line.
- Day 02 : Enroute
Due to time difference and travel time, the day is spent on board our airliner. Guests overnight on board.
- Day 03 : Hong Kong - Bangkok (DS)
Upon arriving in Hong Kong, we board a connecting flight to Bangkok, the "City of Angeles", where we are met and greeted at the airport. After being transferred to our five-star hotel, we attend a Thai Classical Dance Welcome Dinner Show.
- Day 04 : Bangkok
Amid all the new development Bangkok is still a traditional city of temples and palaces, and a city full of golden spires, orange tiered roofs, and monks. Today, after a delightful breakfast, we admire the royal splendor of the Grand Palace and Coronation Hall. Buddhism is one of the cornerstones of Thai culture, and we appreciate the level of devotion as we view the Emerald Buddha Temple and Reclining Buddha Temple. After visiting the Gems Factory, the rest of the afternoon is free at leisure. Perhaps take a walk to experience the cultural, traditional and historical charms that attract people from all over the world to this city.
- Day 05 : Bangkok (AB, L)
Today, we explore Damnern Saduak Floating Market, Thailand・s most colorful, largest and most photographed floating market on Bangkok・s khlongs (canals). The afternoon is free at leisure, some of us may choose to go on an optional tour of the Rose Garden.
- Day 06 : Bangkok - Golden Triangle - Chiang Rai (AB, L, DH)
After an American breakfast at the hotel, we fly to Chiang Rai and proceed to Chang Saen, the old capital of Lanna Kingdom. Continue our journey to the Golden Triangle, the famous meeting point of Myanmar, Laos and Thailand. In the afternoon, visit Mae Sai, the northernmost town in Thailand and later return to Chiang Rai for overnight accommodation.
- Day 07 : Chiang Rai - Chiang Mai (AB, L, DS)
We leave Chiang Rai for Chiang Mai, the largest city in the North. Upon arrival, we check into our hotel and enjoy lunch. Chiang Mai is an ancient city founded in 1296 and has been the center of Thai religion, culture and trade for nearly three hundred years. Our tour will visit the historic Doi Suthep Temple located some 3,500-feet above sea level as well as the holy Pagoda containing the relics of lord Buddha. An evening Khantoke Lanna Performance Dinner is provided for our entertainment.
- Day 08 : Chiang Mai (AB, L, D)
This morning・s agenda allows us to observe the elephants at work in the jungle area, Chiang Dao Cape and Meo Village. After lunchtime, we visit the Hill tribes of Karen Long Necked Thaton, the famous Thai Handicraft Village, Sankhempeng Factories of silk and cotton handweaving, and Borsang, a village renowned for its umbrellas and primitive paper making.
- Day 09 : Chiang Mai - Bangkok - Singapore (AB)
With our delightful exploration of the over 700-year-old Chiang Mai completed, we travel by motorcoach back to Bangkok to catch our flight to Singapore. Singapore, located in the heart of Southeast Asia, is renowned for its old world charms and new world appeals. After we check in to our five-star hotel, the rest of the day is free for leisure activities.
- Day 10 : Singapore (AB, L)
Our sightseeing tour today includes visits to the Merlion Park and the famous Botanical Garden. After lunch, we visit Chinatown and Sentosa Island - Singapore・s highly acclaimed leisure and recreational resort island.
- Day 11 : Singapore - Hong Kong (AB)
Today, we journey to Hong Kong by air, arriving at the famous ：Jewel of the Orient；. We later check in to our five-star accommodations and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
- Day 12 : Hong Kong (AB)
A half-day city tour takes us around the island and up to Victoria Peak where we enjoy and unrivaled panoramic and breathtaking views of harbor and Kowloon Peninsula. The afternoon is free at leisure.
- Day 13 : Hong Kong (AB)
Enjoy the entire day at leisure. Surely we can find things to do on this free day! Spend time strolling the shopping paradise of Asia. Tired of shopping? Take an optional tour to Macau or an evening cruise.
- Day 14 : Hong Kong - USA (AB)
The morning is free at leisure until we are transferred to the airport. We bid Hong Kong a fond farewell and board our home bound international flight.
